Women – A career in the Law – 14th July 1700 to 19:45 Online Leeds Law Society

Leeds Law Society invites you to hear from and speak to high profile leaders in corporate, commercial and high street law firms in Leeds discussing how far the legal profession has come far in terms of its support for women in leadership positions and what can we do to continue this into the future.
 
There is no question that the workplace has improved for women in law and in particular, increasing representation in leadership positions. Leeds Law Society has invited speakers from a broad range of firms to discuss how this has been achieved and what needs to be done to maintain and expand this. We also want to spotlight areas where there may be fewer women in leadership positions along with alternative career routes for women who may not wish to become traditional partners.
 
This event will focus on how we can assist women in reaching their full potential in their careers – whatever that may look like. We welcome speakers in leadership positions to discuss their experiences and consider their advice on achieving your potential, no matter what that might look like.
