The headquarters of The Law Society at Chancery Lane has been damaged extensively following a fire . The full causes of the fire are unknown but it appears most of the damage was restricted to the upper floors of 114 Chancery Lane .
Mercifully although events were on going everyone was led to safety and both the President and Chief Executive have paid tribute to the London Fire Service and the dedicated Law Society Staff who were on hand at the time and afterwards .
