It has been announced that following a Local Law Society Nomination Process from the Member Associations of the Yorkshire Union , David Barraclough has been elected as a new Council Member representing Yorkshire at the Law Society .
David replaces Chris Cole who retires at the Law Society AGM on 14th October with the thanks and appreciation of Yorkshire Members .
David is of course our retiring President of the Yorkshire Union and has played an instrumental role in the regeneration of the Union . We can all look forward to his Support of Yorkshire at the Law Society , joining our existing Council Members Mark Newby and Peter Wright , together with Nick Emmerson ( Leeds Seat ) to provide a strong voice for Yorkshire
