We would like to invite you to attend the online launch of LawCare’s Life in the Law research study on September 28 5-6pm, where Dr Emma Jones, a member of our research committee will be presenting the findings followed by a panel discussion with practitioners about the implications of the research and how we can start to address these. Life in the Law is a cross professional, cross jurisdictional study into the working practices in law and how these impact mental wellbeing, over 1700 legal professionals took part, making this the largest study of its kind in the UK legal sector. The research has ethical approval from the University of Sheffield. The study has looked at burnout, work intensity and psychological safety.
Please feel free to share this with colleagues you feel may be interested in attending, the event is free but you do need to register to attend. Priority booking is available for our key stakeholders until Wednesday after that we will be promoting the launch more widely.
We hope you can join the discussion about how we can work together to improve the culture in law to better support mental wellbeing.
